OBJECTIVE
Design the business card, and garments for players and management, and conceptualize an impactful facade branding that will create a strong first impression, keeping in mind the brief, 'A premium sport for India's affluent.'

PADEL INDIA / ROUND NECK TEES

PADEL INDIA / POLO SHIRTS

PADEL INDIA / FACILITY DESIGN IDEATION
The idea was to use the real estate as an indirect marketing tool to attract people (not just padelists, but also people who have never heard of the sport) to the facility.

Dominant Colours
The top mesh of the facade is black in order for the logo to stand out, as well as be visible from far away. Black is also a great complimentary colour and will accentuate the green mesh at the bottom.

Mesh Branding
The bottom mesh of the facade is in various tints and shades of the green from Padel India’s colour palette. This is because lighter and darker shades allow more room for layered graphics, which in turn, makes the overall visual more intriguing. As an essential part of Padel India’s branding, we show the green in all it’s magnificence—bright, stark, and energetic. A structure that people will never forget, even if seen just in passing.

Padel Elements
The geometric patterns in the background are an abstract, simplified representation of Padel courts. Simplified versions of Padel rackets and balls are plastered all over the mesh, and unlike the courts, are not abstract. This is because a lot of people aren’t aware of the sport, and while the ball looks almost identical to a tennis ball, most people may not know what a Padel racket looks like.

Playing with Silhouettes
The silhouettes of players in action are used to instill a sense of energy that the sport has in its DNA. The graphics of people in motion acts as a stimulus to get someone intrigued about the sport.

Complimentary Grey
While the side walls, ceiling, and the entrance are all green, seeing a different colour while entering will help as a visual break, and will help balance the green. Grey also connotes a certain amount of seriousness and discipline, which is why most walls of gyms are grey.

Alternate Use of Space
Similar to cinema halls or movie theatres, these white rectangles are placeholders for framed posters of important live matches or other events like conferences that Padel India might want to showcase to the public. These could also be LED screens that glow bright after dark.

Wide Digital Display Screen
The LED screen will broadcast live matches from the courts to give people a sneak-peek of the sport, and what they’re missing. The screen should be positioned at an elevation where one gets a glimpse of it without much strain.
